We believe your home renovation should be an enjoyable process, one that creates good, lasting memories. We understand this on a personal level. After our own Miami home renovation, we realized there was a need for our services for people who want a bespoke home but don’t have the time to manage the process.

After a lifetime in Miami, completing many successful projects, and much careful thought, we chose a lifestyle change. Gaston’s Italian ancestry made the move to Europe a clear choice, and Rimini felt like home right away. Once we bought our first Italian fixer-upper, we knew it was the right time to extend Duoma’s services to international clients eager to realize their Italian dreams, just as we did.

Norma Galella

Norma helps people who have fallen in love with Italy turn a villa into the home they've always pictured — without the stress of managing a renovation from another country. For 21 years she has designed high-end commercial and residential interiors, guided by one belief: a home should be a faithful reflection of the family who lives in it. Then Norma and Gastón did the very thing their clients now come to them for — they left Miami, moved to Rimini, and bought their own Italian fixer-upper. Living there has sharpened her eye and deepened her love of Italian craft, materials, and the slower, more beautiful way of life. At Duoma Atelier they handle the whole journey end to end — design, permits, construction, furnishings — in English, so an owner buying from abroad never has to coordinate a thing. A Registered Interior Designer (RID) and LEED-accredited professional, Norma cares as much about how a home feels to live in as how it functions.

Gastón Galella

Gastón makes sure your Italian renovation is built beautifully — and that you never lose sleep managing it from across an ocean. He inherited his love of craft from his father and his Italian grandfather: a carpenter's eye for fine woodwork that still shapes how he judges a finished space. Across 25 years in construction, Gastón has delivered high-end commercial and residential projects, bringing a commercial-grade standard of quality and on-schedule execution to every home he builds. Eventually his Italian roots called them home — he and Norma moved to Rimini, bought their own fixer-upper, and now bring international owners a fully turnkey experience: design, permits, trades, and budget managed start to finish, in English.
