Weston Residence

In this renovation project, we were inspired by our clients hosting style and modern aesthetics. Their ask was to create a sophisticated and functional home that feels modern and inviting, the intersection between moody and airy. This developed into a muted palette with delicate touches of black accents, warm metals, woods, and rich textures.
We created a floor to ceiling slatted wood wall at the entrance which serves as an open “mud room” on the foyer side and it divides it from the new living room.
As soon as you enter the space, guests can appreciate the client’s art collection on the gallery wall we designed with track lighting and custom placards.
The home living spaces has beautiful high vaulted ceilings, but it was originally divided by the existing kitchen located right at the center of the space blocking all-natural lighting.
By relocating it to one side and creating an open style concept, the new kitchen became the heart of the house, drawing all eyes to its simplicity and elegance.
We played with proportions and materials, to create a one-of-a kind kitchen with ample room for entertaining.
The Master Bathroom was design to be a Zen-contemporary retreat with a soft palette, free standing bathtub, floating vanity, and LED mirror.
The wood floors coming into the room and changing to modern hexagon gray tiles brings a touch of playfulness and interest.
